Discussions focused on the opportunity for a partnership between the Ordre de Malte France and this organization, on issues of Mother-Child health, particularly on the management of obstetric fistula treatment at St Jean-Baptiste Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The areas of interest to be explored would consist of taking charge of complex cases, based on training missions by the Order of Malta&#8217;s experts, to supplement the training already provided to surgeons in C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire in various hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Such a partnership already exists in Madagascar, at the Pavillon Ste Fleur, managed by the Order of Malta France, and would enhance the value of the St Jean Baptiste hospital in a region affected by this disease.
