The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the history, organisation and activities of the Order, both worldwide, in particular with American associations, and in C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire. Possible partnerships were discussed on health issues (malaria, hiv\/aids and obstetric fistulas), with a personal visit to the St Jean-Baptiste hospital, and with the USAID agency ; the support provided to the 19 dispensaries by the two Maltese associations operating in C\u00f4te d&#8217;Ivoire was also mentioned, as was our capacity to provide aid to the refugee camps in the north of the country.<\/p>\n","news_gallery":"no","news_excerpt":"On 27 June, HE Jessica Davis BA, the new Ambassador of the United States, received the Ambassador de Vivi\u00e8s.
