Count Bernard de Gerlache visited St Jean-Baptiste Hospital on December 26, accompanied by his family, including the Belgian Ambassador to Ivory Coast, HE Carole VAN EYL. As ambassador during the major decisions to create the hospital in the 2010s, Bernard de Gerlache was able to appreciate the hospital’s organization, presented by the deputy director general, Mr. Kouassi Kouadio, Dr. Ouattara, and Sister Ida, the head nurse. He was able to visit the entire facility and appreciate the merits of its location and involvement in the area.
