On June 20, the Sovereign Military Order of Malta celebrated both its 10th anniversary and
its national holiday in Bodo. Two ministries were represented (Foreign Affairs and Health). A
number of diplomats were also present, or represented, to attend the event, as were
business leaders. A mass, very well prepared by all the staff, was celebrated in the hospital
chapel by the vicar general of the diocese, in the absence of the bishop of Agboville, who was
in Rome for a seminar. Following a cocktail reception, a tour of the hospital was offered, and
attended by a large number of guests.
