A meeting was organized by the hospital’s director of external relations, Ms. Kadi ALBRECHT, with Mr. Abdul Hussein BEYDOUN, President of the YYESHI Group. Mr. BEYDOUN is already very involved with the AOMCI and the Embassy, but is also expected to become involved with Saint Jean-Baptiste Hospital.
A meeting was held with His Excellency Amadou KONE, Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs, who received His Excellency the Ambassador and the First Secretary; this provided an opportunity to highlight to His Excellency the Minister the strategic location of St. Jean-Baptiste Hospital on a central, major, and high-traffic route, and to inform him of the expertise and capabilities of this hospital facility. Possible avenues for partnership were discussed regarding emergency medical services in the various local communities.

In the absence of Mr. Adrien HAYE, the Ambassador, along with the First Secretary, was received by his deputy, Ms. Magali KREITMANN, who was accompanied by Mr. Guenolé OUDRY. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss with the AFD the possibilities for the Hospital to participate in its programs. The Hospital’s capabilities were highlighted, as well as those of the clinics, all of which are supported by the Order and serve as true hubs of stability and community resilience. The possibility of the Hospital supporting the Institutes for the Training of Health Auxiliaries (INFAS), which are funded by the AFD, was discussed, and the AFD remains interested in our work with CISOM in the area of civil protection.
