On 27 October 2022, the new Representative of UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) in Côte d’Ivoire, Mme Cécile Compaore, visited the Embassy of the Order of Malta to Côte d’Ivoire to discuss the Order’s ongoing partnership with UNFPA and the upcoming missions in 2023.

This collaboration, which has already begun with St. Jean-Baptiste hospital, will continue, and a visit was planned for early November in the coming weeks. The hospital is expected to receive additional resources to complement the skills already acquired in this delicate area of intervention for the benefit of women in Côte d’Ivoire.
