SEM Arnaud de Viviès and the First Secretary visited the Ste Therese of the child Jesus
medical center. This health center, located in the commune of Koumassi, near Abidjan, is run
by the congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Ste Therese of the child Jesus. Run by four
Colombian nuns and one Panamanian, the center specializes in HIV and all aspects of mother
and child care. It has two laboratories, a pharmacy, a school canteen and a literacy center for
185 mothers. This center deserves to be supported by one of the Order’s associations, with
priority given to the French association.
