A meeting was held on 21 March at the Senegalese Embassy where Ambassador de Viviès was received by Ambassador El Hadji Daouda NIANG. In addition to a presentation of the St Jean-Baptiste Hospital and the Order’s activities in Côte d’Ivoire, the meeting also discussed the Order of Malta’s support to Senegal through the Order’s Hospital Centre in Dakar, the former leprology institute. This structure is specialized in leprosy repair surgery and in all aspects of orthopedic and spinal surgery.
