A working meeting was held on January 15 under the chairmanship of Mr. Ally Coulibaly, Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of his Director of Cabinet and the Deputy Secretary General of the Department. Ambassador de Viviès was accompanied by the First Counsellor, Mr. Jean-François Albrecht, and the First Secretary, Ms. Catherine Rechenmann. This meeting was an opportunity to recall the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two institutions (40 years in 2022), to discuss the existing partnership through the management of the Saint Jean-Baptiste Hospital and the support of 17 health clinics throughout the country, and to discuss possible new avenues of cooperation.
