On Monday 26 June, ambassador de Viviès met with the director of the NOCP, prefect Kassi Gabin AMANKOU ; the meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the field of first aid, which is well known to the Order’s associations (French association, CISOM, etc.), and to open up possibilities for a partnership in this area. The “first aid” aspect, initially proposed at the beginning of June, is of interest to the ONPC, both for the CAN and for the continuation of our partnership. We have discussed the training of Ivorian trainers; this could be carried out by managers from France or Burkina Faso, according to procedures to be defined, and in line with the discussions between the Ivorian Prime Minister, Patrick Achi, and the Grand Hospitalier, in June 2022.
