A working meeting was held on Wednesday, September 17, at the headquarters of the (ONPCI) in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador de VIVIES, First Secretary Florence MOREAU, Technical Advisor to the Director General of the ONPCI Lieutenant-Colonel RIMELE, and the Head of Communications for the ONPCI.
A working meeting was held on Wednesday, September 17, at the headquarters of the (ONPCI) in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador de VIVIES, First Secretary Florence MOREAU, Technical Advisor to the Director General of the ONPCI Lieutenant-Colonel RIMELE, and the Head of Communications for the ONPCI. The purpose of the meeting was to answer questions concerning cooperation between the Italian Relief Corps of the Order of Malta and the ONPCI at the end of 2025 and in the first quarter of 2026.
Mr. Arsène YAPI, Director of Communications, reiterated his interest in visiting the hospital and contributing to its smooth operation on existing projects; joint initiatives have already been identified for early 2026.
A meeting was held at the Association's headquarters, attended by His Excellency Arnaud de VIVIES, Past President (Mr. Nouho KONE), and Executive Director, Mr. Djibril YEO. After a presentation of the Order and its activities, a review was conducted of the potential expectations of a CSR partnership with St Jean-Baptiste Hospital. Following a visit to Bodo, this would involve the provision of equipment and/or financial resources as part of current or future programs.
A meeting was held with the Director of the Italian Agency in Abidjan, Mr. Aldo CERA. This contact will be strengthened upon the arrival of the agency's CSR manager, who has just moved to Abidjan.
Mgr RUEDA BELTZ received HE the Ambassador of VIVIES with the First Secretary. The topics discussed during a working breakfast focused on the progress made at the St. Jean Baptiste Hospital and the St. Joseph Moscati Hospital in Yamoussoukro, and on support for the Sainte Thérèse dispensary in Koumassi, which is very active in the field of maternal and child health.
On Thursday June 26, the company's Managing Director, Mr. Abbas Zahreddine, gave SEM Arnaud de Viviès and the First Councillor, Mr. Jean-François Albrecht, an overview of his company's personal rescue activities, organization and road and air equipment. SOS Abidjan had already benefited from training courses in France, and would like to host others, perhaps with the Order of Malta's Italian Emergency Corps. A visit to the hospital is planned in the near future, to see under what conditions a branch could be placed within our structure, and have our doctors provide the most urgent care.
During his meeting with SEM Arnaud de Viviès on June 25, SEM Dominique FAVRE spoke of the growing strength of the Swiss-Côte d'Ivoire Chamber of Commerce, which brings together more than 35 companies in the RCI, operating in fields as varied as cocoa, pharmaceuticals, finance and cement.
During his last visit, on June 24, SEM Arnaud de Viviès met Madame Dominique Ouattara, First Lady of Côte d'Ivoire; an opportunity to discuss a partnership with the Mère -Enfant Dominique Ouattara hospital in Bingerville, and also to request the First Lady's patronage for the Ordre de Malte's gala event in Côte d'Ivoire, scheduled for December 2025.
